Bio-Analytical and Environmental Electrochemistry Laboratory

Our scientific research group focused on:

1. Pharmaceutical Voltammetric Sensors (Pharmaceutical, Biological and Food Sample Analysis): A simple and precise analytical approach which developed for single and simultaneous determination of analysts in real samples using modified carbon paste electrodes.

2. Hospital Sewage and Industerial Wastewater Treatment (Advance electrochemical Techniques, Photocatalytic and Adsorption Techniques): Presence of emerging contaminant such as pharmaceutical and industrial products in aquatic environments received high concerns due to their undesirable effect on wildlife and human health. Herein a treatment model based on mention techniques developed for efficient removal of contaminants from wastewater using the central composite design (CCD) under response surface methodology (RSM).

3. Enviromental Potentiometric Sensors: An electrochemical device that employs a selective membrane which responds to the activity of ionic species and allows the potentiometric sensing of the specific ion activity in the presence of other ions. They used in a very wide range of applications in aqueous and non-aqueous environments.
